This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to advancing equality, fostering inclusive communities, and advocating for social justice. Together, we will work to promote LGBTQ+ rights, support marginalized voices, and empower individuals through education, advocacy, and service.
As an organization rooted in leadership and bruhhood, Sigma Omega Phi recognizes the importance of standing in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. Through this partnership, we aim to amplify our impact, challenge discrimination, and create a more equitable world for all.

B.L.A.C.K. COUNCIL
B.L.A.C.K. Council engages, develops and empowers Black HRC members, volunteer leaders, donors, and staff to establish and maintain safe spaces and increase representation for Black LGBTQ+ people and their allies both within and outside the organization.
HRC HBCU PROGRAM
HRC Foundation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Program focuses on promoting individual competencies and collective action, empowering leaders and stakeholders, and building a network of committed leaders in pursuit of eliminating stigma and enriching the college experience for LGBTQ+ students and the entire student body.
HRC STEERING COMMITTEES/DINNERS/PRIDES
There is a steering committee in most major cities with in the US. They create programming for their city or state. Some of that programming includes HRC Dinner, and City/State Pride.
