Sigma Omega Phi is very focused on the community as a whole. We serve the community in hopes to better our society as well as the image of the masculine gay female. Each year we select the national community service initiative for the entire organization. Each chapter selects their own local initatives.

Sigma Omega Phi as well as The Omega2 Phamily prides ourselves on not just doing comunity service within the LGBT community and mainstream but we do community service in our organzation. We, as the Omega2 Phamily have workshops about networking, job hunting, finances and starting a business. Sigma Omega Phi has developed two programs the SCHOLAR PROGRAM & THE RADIO NETWORK.
